Eric Morecambe made his very last performance and as a result was to be sadly missed by an army of fans.

Thanks for bringing us some sunshine....

Oddly enough, I was at work, I'd just put a lady on the toilet. She used to listen to Steve Wright when she went for an afternoon rest on her bed. I came out of her room and told someone to 'put the tv on, something is happening'. As a result, we were watching live when the second attack occured.

As for Eric, 25 years ago... that's a long time  How long Tommy Cooper then?
“Britain faces a simple and inescapable choice - stability and strong Government with me, or chaos with Ed Miliband: ".

David Cameron. May 4th 2015.
So how did that work out then?
