Time to start our campaign in the "whatever it's called this season" trophy with a trip to league 1 club Wigan Athletic.

Reminder, this is for the result after 90 minutes.

I refuse to start predicting losses this early in the season. 0-1 win.

Going to be interesting to see what side Derek puts out on Tuesday?

Burgoyne should start, not just because Moore has been uncharacteristically 'dodgy' in the last couple of games (our only player on two assists this season!)

I'd rest Edwards, Slew, Songo'o and probably Tutonda, because he's on two yellow cards already. I don't know if yellows in the whatever-its-called trophy count towards suspensions? Is it just red cards count in this competition? Probably drop Hope for Dackers or Angol?

But, given we need to start scoring and winning, I'd be expecting us to take this very seriously. Not to mention, there's a decent amount of cash available to win too.
