Edwards with a lovely cross, but Slew couldn't quite make contact. It wasn't replayed, but it looked like a foul on Slew, so probably should have been a penalty. Pretty even opening, that's the best chance for either side.

FFS! Now the referee is joining in! Edwards was clear through, the last man pulls him down, ref gives a yellow??? Clear cut red card.

Their defender laying with his knees off the pitch, but dangling his feet over the touchline. Ref allowing him to get 'treatment', rather than make him move off the pitch.

Remember 2021, when the Doncaster rugby tackled our attacker, but the ref gave a goal kick instead of a penalty and red card? What is it about refs supporting Doncaster??? If it had been the other end of the pitch. we'd be down to ten men.

I put the Donnie commentary on at the start of the second half. Regarding the [non-]penalty...

"That tackle wouldn't look out of place tomorrow at the rugby".

So that's the view from their lads too.

Apparently the Doncaster commentary team can't understand why it wasn't a red card today, either.

Absolutely clear cut corner for us, not even a close decision, goal kick... Ref not even giving us corners.

Attacking free-kick to us, hit over everyone, they break, shot took a lucky deflection, on to the post.
Our third corner, straight to their keeper.

Our corner routine is rubbish but was the same under DA last season when nearly every corner kick was overhit often going out on play on the far side.

But with no aerial threat up front it really doesn't matter.....but we should at least try and get in front of their goalkeeper other that allowing him to make an easy catch unchallenged
