Correct me if I am wrong but it sounds as though by HMRC own admission that our club have done nothing wrong. If that was the case why such a lengthy embargo?

One hurdle down, who ever settled the VAT, thou it seems that we should never have been put in embargo!

Now we need the ownership of our Club settling, are the two linked?

If they are will we get news soon?

Anyway good luck to Derek with now getting on assembling his new squad. We have 4/5 as a starting block that will do well for us, I hope he gives them all a chance, especially Charlie, he did well in the second half of last season.

This is the bit of the statement I don't understand ....

Their transfer restriction has been suspended for two years and reduced to one window.

If that's the case how are we allowed to register new players

The restriction will be triggered should there be a further breach of the current time-to-pay agreement between the Club and HMRC.

The registration embargo placed on the Club in March 2024 following the initial breach has now been lifted.

Isn't the restriction a value of what we are allowed to spend. As we never pay for anyone it's not really an issue.

We were found guilty, given a fine and the one-transfer window restriction suspended for two years, so the embargo has been lifted as long as we don’t default again!

You have written it the wrong way round, so it reads differently!!

Weird how they say we did nothing wrong yet also found guilty and had to pay a fine.

It was a technicality that we did breach but equally didn’t do anything wrong which Graham said right from the off and which was agreed a strange situation but because we indirectly did breach the rule that makes us guilty

A fine of £5,131 for the club to pay as well.

Clubs like Man city would pay it from the petty cash tin but it's a big slap in the face for a club like the Shrimps.

The trust could pay the fine.

Jason (  ) could pay it as a goodbye present or even his preferred bidders.
