Just read on Twitter that Bill who ran the burger van/cart opposite McDonalds in Lancaster has passed. Been there as long as I can remember and his wife sadly passed not to long ago. RIP Bill.

Yep, I saw this too.

I was chatting to Bill a few months ago on his pitch and he was telling me he was struggling since his wife had sadly passed away.

So sad.

Absolute Lancaster Legend if ever there was one.

I thought it was brilliant how he was plonked outside McDonalds and was still always busy.

Up there with the 6 for a pound man as a childhood memory when we ventured in to bandit country with our money hidden in our socks.
