I've just seen pictures of our new recruits on the OWS! Don't think they'll get us into the playoffs though.

MK Dons have released 5 players.

Total 168 players from 20 teams.

League One up to today 145 realised players.

Up date on Harrogate, they have now realised 8 players. (up from 3).

Walsall also announced 4 players released

Our released etc list is due to be published by Saturday at the latest , clock is ticking !

I think the club had to give the list to the EFL by yesterday, not necessarily publish it then.

I suspect that our retained list will show details of those offered a new deal with those released being the rest.

For me those who should be released would be Goalkeeper Smith, Defenders Melbourne, Threlkeld and Harrock. Midfielder Songo'o, Davenport and Cammy Smith with forward Hiwula making up those not offered a new deal and so are free to negotiate a deal elsewhere.

I expect the following to already in discussions with a new club. Love, Rawson, Bedeau, Senior, McKiernan and Slew but hope that Senior, Rawson, McK and Slew will decide to accept a new improved offer from our club.

All fingers and toes crossed about those accepting a new contract....but in particular the 4 mentioned above.

As for a new manager.....as much as I dislike his style at times Derek Adams would be excellent with the current Altrincham manager amongst the contenders especially with his contacts in the non league world. Remember Crawley got promoted with a number of former non leaguers in their ranks.

If I was the Alty manager who has doing quite well is top end of the NL and at a club that gets ok crowds I don't think I would come anywhere near us!

A total 210 players released from League 2 this season.
