Wasn't one of them a solicitor who then got disbarred? I know they were banned from being directors of a company for a year.

Colin was acting as a solicitor but wasn't qualified, bit like letting a Donald Trump rewire your house I suppose

JB Christie continues to save the club from the grave! I once though PMG would have a similar legacy but looks like the total opposite now.......

I thought along similar lines, in that, I always wondered if they thought they had bought the land as well as the club, and we'd be looking at a housing estate by now? Only after buying it did they realise the land wasn't theirs?

The land must have been registered when we moved grounds and it would be made pretty clear on the register that it was in trust. They'd have had to have had a pretty poor solicitor to miss that.

So, like I said then...

Thank goodness for J.B.Christie's forward thinking.

I didn't know that 400 people lost their jobs when Goldring's club collapsed, following months of late payments to players.

I know it is the Premier League and not the EFL but the PL CEO appearing before the select committee on Parliament's Football Governance Bill when asked why they had not rejected the proposed buyer said "the job of the PL was to complete the Owners and directors test not to decide who the owner sells Everton FC to. It is the owner's decision as to who he sells to".....

So there's a test but it can't be enforced! Wonderful!!!!

You think Jim jumped ship because of a few effing idiots on here ?

Jim is made of very stern stuff , he wouldn't be swayed by either positive or negative views of armchair managers.

The comment was rude and unnecessary, some might even say , idiotic.

Jim didn't jump ship Colin & Jason wouldn't offer him a new contract because we were bottom of the league even though the BoD would have done.

To be fair it's the one thing Colin & Jason did get right.

I think even the 'Delusional Crew' would be ready to accept third from bottom next season, or is that still a "lack of ambition"?

To be fair, he's bunging us a few quid by having the press conference at the Mazuma!
