Roughly an 8000 average attendance at Swindon and they booed their players off on Saturday. Can envision this going the same way as Bradford and they'll both turn on each other if he does take over there.

Whoever takes him on will have to convince the fans that his style of football is the style for them.

Probably not, considering it's...
according to journalist Alan Nixon.

Nixon has probably been reading Shrimpsvoices in recent weeks, looking for something else to fabricate. See my post here...

A good read and he wants (or needs) to come back to England to manage, hopefully with a really good budget, he says!

Wonder who will take him on then?

Well was DA right all along about Scottish football?

Sorry to my Scottish friends and my distant Scottish ancestors, I’m sure they will turn up next Wed, if they are willing to learn a lesson that is!

Yes the King was right as usual and the good thing about his comments re Scottish Football means we won't have a Scottish club trying to poach him in the future.

You would think he has "burned his bridges" up in Scotland (for a while at least ?).
If Derek can steer the good ship Morecambe FC through the current uncertainty, then, hopefully he can start to weave his low rent magic once again ?
He would definitely be an attractive, experienced and single-minded proposition for any number of lower league clubs. Let's appreciate him whilst he is ours, and wish him well.

I would hope that the ownership issue gets sorted and Derek decides to commit to us for a long term project. If it isn't sorted, then weave his magic, make us safe and move on again, with our thanks. But if we have some stability, after leaving twice and not being happy, it may be we're a good match for him & us.

So how did that work out then?

Thought the ownership was going to be sorted in 10 to 14 days

Ah well that's gone by and nothing what a surprise

Didn't Derek say in one of his recent interviews "I doubt the present owner will still be around in 6 months"?

Even if Jason's "10-14 days" statement was wishful thinking, it suggests Derek thinks a change of ownership will certainly happen some time in the next few weeks/months?

As others have said, I doubt Derek would have come back again unless he was expecting a change in ownership and funding.

We can but hope!
