The beginning of the end. Yet people were happy to carry on doing nothing

Terrible news. It looks like Whittingham has destroyed our beloved club as well as Worcester Rugby Club. What a shambles of a businessman he is. Devastating news.

Just heard players are going to be paid 2 days late. Not sure if this is true.

If the Club can't pay them today, how will they pay on Monday?
Bucket collection at Swindon?

Jimmy Bell on Radio Lancs is certain that someone will come up with the money. I wonder how deep his pockets are...

That’s a EFL charge.

So EFL what does a fit and proper owner look like? There again what constitutes a bad one?

On Companies House , Ben Sadler's termination as a director has been filed and was dated 15th April which was before the date it was announced by the club. This situation arising must have been on the cards for a while hence the rush to finish the early bird season ticket offer as soon as May 2nd.

He's looked after himself and jumped a sinking ship
The early bird offer has been a flop and not pushed anywhere near the same as normal, Bens obviously not bothered his arse as he was jumping the ship and made sure he had his life jacket!!!

Do you think Whittingham still thinks the club is worth 6 million pounds? Deluded or what!

Don`t think the club is worth £6 right now never mind 6 million

Really wish Tyson Fury would buy the club but can`t see it happening

I thought the early bird tickets sales money went straight to the club and if so how much is the monthly wage and how many early bird tickets sold? It seems that wasn’t enough to cover the wages in emergencies?

About 700 early bird tickets with a mixture of seated and standing sales should have covered the wages, just cannot have sold them.

Lancaster City fans taking the ****** out of me.

Yes Billy, 700 tickets should just about pay the wages for a month, but what about all the other ongoing overheads and outgoings?

The funding page was on around £400 of a £100K target

Will be interesting which players play tomorrow

Can imagine players like Garner, Mair, Adams and Khumbeni will play as they are loan players

Wonder what Charlie Brown must be thinking as the only contracted player for next season

The same Tyson Fury who said he was there for the community but would rather let the 3g Pitches got to rot than let the local community use them
people are deluded if they think or have ever thought he would buy the club
