Some rumours about the club surfacing tonight.

No staff have been paid, and potentially, the players refusing to play tomorrow.

Hopefully, this isn't true, but with no pre-game interview being published, it makes sense that something is going on!

Surely the 125% would have been deposited at the beginning of the month! But not hearing this wasn’t done, that isn’t surprising with the usual silence from the Club.

If these rumours are true, we hope there not. The hole we are in is heading to towards being a black hole.

Players not being paid is hardly surprising tbh
Look at the last few weeks/months at the club, the silence is deafening and as per my previous post, we as fans should never have been persuaded to change the march to that of support instead of protest.
Many people have sat back and watched our club deteriorate and anyone who spoke up for what they believed in and any way critical were shot down by those thinking they know best.
Maybe the players will be paid Monday, I'm sceptical as anyone being honest, knows that the vibe from the club has been shocking the last few weeks. BOD missing or jumping ship and some may say have a part in our demise.

Players who refuse to play tomorrow wont do themselves any favours when looking for new clubs neither, those will say who blames them, but lest be honest their a team, a close team weve been told for months so team mates don't down tools

At least they've managed to form new clubs. I'll take that! The worst case scenario would be if we don't have a club at all to support and socialise at.

For me the Board should stand down. If no one is running the club for Jason he will be forced in to doing something.

Sadly a phoenix club starting afresh might be the only realistic choice.

This is probably the best time for this mess to happen, the club are safe with nothing to play for this season so we have a number of weeks/ months to get out this mess.

There is interest from various groups in a takeover, including one from Asia I believe, Wrexham may have Disney an Hollywood backing them, but who knows…maybe we’ll be getting ready for pre season in Hong Kong this time next year.

Let's be honest about this situation, we've lived over our means for a number of seasons purely to stay in the EFL. Why?

For me a retrun to non league, living within our means and playing in a geographicl area that doesn't requre too many overnight stays.

We wouldn't need as many security staff or top heavy admin office staff and it's not that important to me anyhow if we return to part time and start off in the Northern Premier League assuming that they woulod have us.

Gates would fall way BUT just supposing we took a new league by storm and started to win almost every game, gates would increase to an average of 1750 of that I'm sure.

So for me a return to non league, get rid of Jason and start to live with in our means.

Doubt many will agree with any of the above but for me as long as we have a Morecambe FC then that is good enough for me.

We were living beyond our means in the conference PMG was writing off losses of 300k a year. Really we were no different in size to Northwich, Bromsgrove and the likes and looks where they ended up.

I also wouldn't be bothered by a return to non league it's always just been a struggle to survive in the league and that makes the fun go out of it.

I just hope we don't have to do it as a phoenix club because I don't think we have enough about us to create one, we can't even agree if to protest or not and have slept walked into this.

The only person responsible for all this is the current owner who with loans having a huge interest charged on repayment is not in my view serious in his desire to sell our club. After all he's making money out of our demise.

I don't blame our BoDs they have tried in every way to resolve the selling problem but i suspect that the owner keeps moving the goal posts. OK they have made a mess out of the VAT situation and the statement issued by one of the Co Chairman didn't fill may with a sense of hope.

As for what we can do is for me to continue to support the lads on the field and in particular whoever takes charge in the coming weeks because I for one don't envy their role in putting together a new team irrespective of what league we find ourselves in.
