Wrexham have posted that their playing budget up to June 2023 was £6.9million.
That is just an example of what we and other clubs are up against in terms of being able to pay for 'quality' players with Mullin already in the £10,000 per week bracket.
However despite all their money they have admitted to being unable to ever pay Championship wages should they get promoted to EFL1....and then further.
Also it's worth noting that it's rumoured that FRG have a playing budget that swamps that majority of other clubs in EFL2.
I think we do bloody well to have not been in a relegation battle alongside FGR and others this season all things considered...and a lot of the credit must go to our excellent BoDs for managing the club under testing financial conditions.
