We started really brightly, and had two corners in quick succession. Their keeper caught it, then had a superb, long throw, leading to a rapid break.

It's a shambles at the moment. An unnecessary free kick and now 0-2. Not much going our way at the moment.

Darren 'It's All About Me' Drysdale gives Doncaster a soft free kick, which was well dispatched, directly from the free kick.

It perhaps was a free kick, but in that case, we should have had a penalty for the pull on Garner.

Aghhh, Garner inches away from scoring. Any touch, half a yard from the goal line, and it would be 1-2

Brown very lucky! He slid in, so long after the ball had gone, that he even missed the player too! Getting frustrated.

We haven't created much at all. When we have won the ball back, we're guilty of giving away again to easily.
They are not afraid to use strong arm tactics to break things up, and are getting away with a few dubious tackles. 0-2 HT.

Poor show so far, can't see us getting anything out of this. They have packed the defence and pretty much snuffed us out. Can we play on the break and use the wind second half. Time will tell.

Got going in patches, but not good enough. Conditions not helping, but also, as we've come to expect, Drysdale his usual self. It's his complete lack of consistency that is annoying. Garner was being tugged in the area, then goes down. If he'd given a penalty, it would have been soft, so okay to play on. But then, Edwards tackles well, but just touches their player who goes down, and Drysdale gives them a soft free-kick in a very dangerous area, and it is two-nil. Late in the half, Doncaster foul, Drysdale runs with arms outstretched, playing the advantage. Before he's even put his arms down, we're tackled, so clearly, no advantage, but instead of taking it back for the free-kick, he lets Doncaster break on us. Okay, he's not biased, like the Wrexham cheat, and as Dannymorc1 said, we've got away with a few dubious ones too, but he needs to be consistent. You just know he'll do something outlandish at some point, but he's already had an impact on this game.

All that said, Doncaster have been better than us, and we need to pick up in the second half.

Doncaster beating us to everything. We can't seem to hold on to the ball. Passing is very erratic, and they win every 50/50 ball. Basically, we're being outplayed!
