I'd take Edwards off to keep him fresh for Monday.

Could be a lot of time added. Six or seven minutes?

Nine minutes added on!

Dave Salmon thought "three or four", but he's forgetting three lengthy delays. Stokes twice and Mair head injury.

From giving nothing in the first half, every contact now is a free kick.

Wow! Real let off. Their lad was stood entirely unmarked on the penalty spot but instead of an easy pass, they shot, fortunately well wide.

Excellent stuff. No clean sheet, but an excellent three points. :D :D :D

Three points off the play-offs, Gillingham (7th), and two points off AFC Wimbledon (8th),with a game in hand over both.

Crawley (9th) are two points ahead, with a game in hand over us (so two in hand over the two teams above them).

Crawley should be favourites for the last play-off spot, but we're still in it, especially if we can halt Barrow on Monday.

The corner is turned today. Our blip is well and truly out of the way. Bring on those Bluebirds and let's have a look at "The Table" this time Monday. COYS's, enjoy your chocolate eggs in the morn and get behind the Mighty Shrimps at The Mazuma in 48 hours. Enjoy the weekend Lancatrians !

Thought we edged the first half which was a bit scrappy but we dominated the second until they scored and then it was bodies on the line time. Good win and what looked like a great following from our fans. Anyone know how many we took?

Quinny's match report states 946 out of 3420. It also correctly reports that our second goal wasn't scored by Stokes, but went in off the keeper's legs directly from Brown's free kick.

Doesn’t matter to me, get in!!!

Definitely went in off the keeper straight from Brown's free kick, but having seen the highlights I can understand why it was credited to Stokes as he was closing in on the keeper on the press and camera's side. Maybe the "dubious goals committee" will amend the records!

Purely on yesterday's performance I hope that GB is not tempted to go after any of the out of contract players at Accrington.

Whilst he knows them all from his years there I'd like to think that GB will use the close season to entice players to the Mazuma from all clubs both at EFL and National league levels. For me not a single Accrington player is better than are current crop and although a few will leave for pastures new if as a club we are to progress GB needs to cast his net as wide as possible.

If we drop out of the play off places chase then GB should consider giving a few of the Academy players an opportunity to see how they perform at EFL2 level with a view to the future. Maybe there are a few jewels in the club yet to be allowed to shine. The remaining games should be used to give them the chance.

I have been saying for a bit if it comes to not mathematically being able to get in the playoffs, I would use a few of the young lads so I’m in agreement with Redrobo. We are still in it so it’s every game is a Cup final really and we need wins.
