I know a Rovers fan who lives a 5 minute walk from Ewood who has had a season ticket for the past few seasons. His attitude is that the football last season was so dire (not just from Rovers but from many visiting teams) that he isn't going to renew at any price and will be very surprised if he goes on at all next season. Thats from someone I considered a Rovers die hard! If his attitude is indicative of many other Rovers fans then you can partly see why theyv'e pitched their prices so low.

On the subject of Morecambe season tickets does anyone know what's happening with ours. My son and I want to renew during any discount period but living 50 miles away it's not so simple to just bob in the shop. Information on the main site relates to last season.

Ithink its a good idea what BRFC are doing, as was said during last season in an attempt to get more people through the gates at Christie Park i woulld like to see a "dad & lad" ticket for a discounted price.

If you have seats in the Main Stand you normally have a couple of weeks to renew to guarantee the same seat. Can't see any dates anywhere, just says it will be updated on main site

I've heard about quite a few similar schemes but they're all run by clubs with what I would call 24/7 facilities that can afford to discount because they have the luxury of alternative revenue on non-match days. Give it another year and we might be in the same position

Burnley's scheme from last season will cost them £2M if they get promoted, although it will make the season ticket holders very happy
