We are the main Political Party in Morecambe -like it or lump it.
Once we elect a full slate onto the Town Council we will be able to deliver effectively for the town. As I am aware thier are plans in place to introduce a new scheme that will see Morecambe having its own illuminations once again. There is also plans in place in the long term I have tom say to open an open air swimming pool, I believe it is being talked about by prominent M.B.I Councillors. These indeals is why I support The Morecambe Bay Independent Party apart from which they are the only party that consult with older people within our town.
I would like to take this opportunity to praise the older peoples Champion in the Council -no other than Coun John Barnes.

The MBIs were elected on the promise of supporting the bypass.
The MBIs all voted against the bypass.
Well documented in the local press and council web site.

Don't get me wrong. I am not an MBI supporter or an Archer admirer. I am just trying to understand local politics, and deciding if a Town council is a good idea. I have a vote.

The value of Independent representation on The City Council eneables non-party politics to be practised in The Town Hall--thuse getting things done for our lovely town.
The Morecambe Bay Independent Party are a group pf well meaning people with the love of the area at the bottom of thier heart. It is encouraging to know that our M.P is on our side also.
The Morecambe Bay Independents will work hard on the Town Council to
Make you Streets Safer--They have already done that with P.C.S.O
Make sure your back streets are cleaned
Make the Town Look inviting to visitors by investing in flower beds.
As a retired person I want to be able to enjoy my autumn days in a town that has a dedicated and dynamic team to look after the wellfare of my area. I am confident that Evelyn Archer and her team will do just that.

Now then looking at my list of Town council people does anyone know what the "Resident First" group stands for?
