black morse wrote:So, if no buyer wants to pay his price and if Jason (Bond) is not prepared to come down to the offered price after 18 months it looks as if he's stuck with us and we're stuck with him........however much "he may want to sell". Can't go on for ever!

Black Morse, that just about sums it up we are stuck with him! Or does that suite him? His potion is very complicated to say the least, If what I am hearing is true I understand HRMC are having dealings with him, is that why he has difficulty accepting a price that financially no good to him? Then I also believe he gave us another loan and he will be calling for that at some point, like he did last time.

Just like the relationship between the Bond Group and the Board became fractured (have they made up! really!!), the precarious relationship with the fans has broken down completely from the fans perspective. I don’t think it was all that great and then we learnt about the Worcester Warriors debacle and, rightly so, rapidly became concerned about our Club.

We here next to nothing, the Board of Directors read these blogs but do they use it to give us information, Charlie posted one which was his first for a very very long time! We get fobbed of with platitudes, “Jason wants to sell” all the time, it’s not enough.

My hope is that an honest debate can take place at the fans forum, that the Board are open and honest with us, they say they are also fans and that they understand, well I want them to show it.

The proposed demonstration is down to the fractured relationship with the Bond Group and the fans just like it was/is between the Board and the Bond Group. They are still here we are still here and Jason is still here, I expect a statement through the Board by Jason which can go some way to us understanding what he is doing to bring the sale of the Club to an end.

I'm sure the BoDs will continue to provide as much info as they can without jeopardizing any on going discussions concerning a sale.

However, and this is unlikely to happen, the fans forum is the ideal opportunity for Jason to face the fans and answer direct questions about why is it taking so long to conclude a deal satisfactory to all concerned.

But you never answer!!! I have asked more than once, so I'll ask again, WHAT WOULD YOUR PETITION SAY?

"We, the undersigned, want Bond Group to sell Morecambe Football Club"

And Bond Group/Whittingham says, "I agree, I want to sell the club, it is up for sale, let me sign that petition too".

We don't know what Whittingham is asking for the club.
We don't know what offers he's turned down.
We don't know how wide the valuations of buyer & seller are.
And frankly, as much as we'd all like to, we're not going to find out.

If I offered you £2,500 and a pie for your house, you'd laugh at me and tell me to go away.
If I then organised a petition, signed by a thousand people, saying "we want you to sell your house to Keith" you'd think I was barking mad, and the petition would be straight in the bin.

Again, if you can share the wording for a petition that can have a positive outcome, then great, let's hear it.

Personally, I'd be happy if Whittingham & Bond weren't mentioned during the demonstration.

Your thoughts on the text for any petition...... :?: :?: :?:

I'm sure someone will put it right, it has already been highlighted on FB.
In the meantime lets not let a little thing like spelling from stopping us spreading the message.

It's been corrected now, unfortunately!
That little slip up could have got us as much publicity as anything else!

Talking about publicity, how about a chuckle of Eric Morecambes on the walk?
Couple of hundred Erics would be a very newsworthy story.

Just a question.....

Are the demonstrators walking on the pavements, road or on the actual promenade before progressing down Regent Road..... :?: :?: :?:

If it is on the road let's hope that everybody keeps safe and doesn't cause to much traffic congestion.

Yep, along the prom where we can't be seen, a bit of order will be needed crossing the Regent Rd traffic lights.

That’s a very good idea, get your caps and glasses out. If the numbers are not attracted less people but dressed as Eric, or a good mixture, would attract publicity.

I think the best way to publicize it would be keep putting reminders on here, twitter and maybe most importantly, the Facebook fan group. Get something up everyday until people are sick of hearing about it, that way they nobody can say they weren't aware.

Maybe a few placards tied to the lamp posts on Christie Way and inside the ground at strategic points for the home game next Tuesday.... :?: :?: :?:

An announcement over the PA prior to the game but not sure if the BoDs would / could give their approval... :?: :?: :?:
