Derek without a CLUB

He’s resigned and Ross County accepted. It’s been a blot on his CV, I would however think he will get another job in the not too distant future. We have to move on with Ged.

And that's the shame of it. Sometimes it doesn't pay to be too open with your thoughts. I agree with you that he'll probably have to come back South but he'll get something.

Ged is only a few months in to an 18month contract, he probably has the safest job in the EFL. Our fanbase enjoy having a friendly manager, Derek was a bit too distant for some. We already have the unofficial spokesmen returning like the old days.

Wonder what odds you would get on him becoming manager of Carlisle United before the end of the season.

Hardly think tact is necessary when someone resigns after being accused of something, i would roll my eyes but can't be bothered at this time of night.

Exactly ! We have this charge regarding the wages deposit to come yet. Do we know when a decision is likely ?

Word is that issue is now sorted to comply with the current guidelines. Whether there is any charges brought is a mute point.

Wonder if we negotiated a deal with the league e.g. we’ll put mayor sale proceeds in a safe place with additional safeguards in place or something like that

Derek had the safest job in football but decided he didn't want it... ...twice.
His leaving had absolutely nothing to do with being friendly, or not.

You've only got to look at the Scottish Premier League year after year and it says it all. The problem is basically that only the top 2 or 3 teams have any money.

Robinson is an arse, who will say anything if it betters Robinson. No time for him at all. He makes the snide "and I managed Morecambe remember" comment, but skims over having taken a Morecambe player with him, to Scotland. I'd rather have seen Derek a success and Robinson a failure.
