Don''t be surprised is Michael goes to Fleetwood where their new manager was the Loans Manager at Burnley and negotiated Michael's loan to ourselves.

Maybe DA will win the race for his signature but Fleetwood seems to be the better bet.

Will be a test for both Ged and his new assistance as to the quality of players we now bring in.

The new assistant is supposed to be good at getting loan deals when at Accy....so let's see if he's able to work miracles for us.

I'm also hoping players like Davenport who was starting games earlier this season in D/M take their chance, as too Cammy Smith and Charlie Brown who look skillfull.

Plus we have Donald Love who is coming back from injury who looks a good stopper in midfield.

Don't forget Chris Stokes who was Kilmarnock's Captain the last 2 seasons and for me has looked impressive for his on field leadership qualities and has played very well.

We will definitely require a goal scorer now that JJ is out injured. Should try looking in the lower leagues

You make it sound easy but do you not think all league one and two clubs will not also be constantly checking lower league clubs (particularly for strikers)?

I'm afraid if clubs sign loan players this generally happens in January

Apparently we have players lined up so let's see what happens

We have already brought in 2 so let Ged and his team do their job

Your right it is a case of; they get on and do their job and that’s fine. They live and lose their job on the back of that. But this is a platform where we moan, praise, offer advice, blow our top, discuss topics, cry tears in these lines, have differing opinions, hopefully all in good faith and in the end we are one as we all have Morecambe FC’s best interest at heart.

Blackpool have just said Rhodes is staying on loan with them and loan recall had expired

So this could be the same for Bloxham

I did hear it was around 9th or 10th Jan

We're in a real mess now, I might dig out the thread we have on the full squad to get an idea for how thin we are for numbers

What now?

None of these are a shock, but we need some quality replacements before the weekend.

Bloxham recalled along side the others already gone. So 4 out up to now!! We need replacements and quick. I was hoping we would keep 2 of them but the clubs have that right to recall them. I suppose we can only thank them for their contributions. We have a good total of points and probably only need 20 or so to stay in the league and We will need about 35-40 to get in the playoff’s so let’s see what Ged and his team can do. It is certainly a baptism of fire to football management. Here’s wishing Jed all the best for the rest of the season.

We really have to hope that Ged doesn't panic and sign just any player that Agents will send his way. We are desperate and Agents will be all over us like a rash. If we don't replace 5 of our best players with players of equal ability then it is curtains.

I admire the positive spin being put on the situation but it is as grim as it gets for me.

How about a big number 9, as in a massive, brutish, player that can hold the ball up and is a clinical finisher? Is there any out there?

I've heard the rumours and I wouldn't be against a Stockton return. My worry is what happens to massive, brutish players when they aren't playing? They tend to get a bit more massive which means they are a long way off match fitness. Would have him back though.

I think the only way we could afford Cole would be a loan deal till the end of the season with Burton picking up part of his reputedly large salary. Add to that he is supposedly struggling with a hamstring injury at the moment. As much as we would all love a fit and firing Cole back with us it's a very long shot due to the many issues involved. We live in hope though.
