Some subs… …can’t be arsed.

3 subs out of four, let’s hope we are better. Melbourne not being given a chance, he’s a decent player.

Can we stop now please. Unbelievable. It's now just shooting practice for them. Rawson on to shore up the defence?

Please can Derek Quinn ask the manager what his thinking is to replace King with Rawson? Not sure at all what that move is intended to do. He might say it is to bolster the defence but weakening midfield will mean the defence comes under greater presuure.

Why bring Mellon on? Either, not 100% fit, or he’d have started, or, leaving in January, in which case, we need a ‘Plan B’ that doesn’t involve him? Either way, no point him coming on now.

Connolly off for Rawson, straight swap.

Why did he not start with songo? We looked shakey at Bradford when they attacked us especially in the space between midfield and defence so no surprise a good team is pulling us apart.

Worrying thing for me is the amount of goals we have conceded since Ged took over

We could be as low as 18th after Monday

Well that was a waste of thought, no saving face here, be ready for Notts County to humiliate us, COMPLETELY. I am working on I’ve been wrong all night and we will show some fight.

Wrexham 6
Newport 2
Stockport 1
Doncaster 0
Mk Dons 3
Bradford 2
Notts County 5 so far

That's 19 goals against in 7 games so far since Ged took over

VERY WORRYING

I could see this happening as soon as I saw the line up. Davenport is technically good but has no legs at all and he is put up against a team like Notts County. I get that Yann has played a lot of minutes lately but he is a massive miss. 2 subs half way through the first 45 stinks of panic and then concede 2 more. 2 further subs at half time, a chance to reorganise and we concede in the 46th minute. 4 subs, 5 goals in 46minutes and no gameplan. We all want Ged to succeed but I really do think he is out of his depth. Coaching and managing youth sides is a long way from managing a car crash of a club like ours.

I told people to be careful for what they wished for, Derek Adams worked miracles with this side and this club. The paper is coming away from the cracks.

Fair to say Adam Smith isn’t going to get poached in the January window , sadly !

Smith has been poor and could be called a weak link i guess but what do you do if you are playing away from home against an attacking team? When we played them at home, they barely had a sniff at goal. We were set up properly by a Manager who could devise and implement a game plan. Winning the odd game here and there won't be enough for us, we have been here before.

They are 5-0 up and still chasing down every ball. We're not being given a chance and when we do get the ball, we give it away again!
What it must be like to have the budget to build a settled team and pay them decent money.

I agree, Derek worked miricles. But, he decided to f*** off (again) so what are you suggesting happens now?

I am NOT assuming an inferiority complex. I am just pointing out the very obvious differences in the level of funding available to these teams. This is a team tipped for promotion and tonight shows why.

Ged Brannan will only be on a fraction of what Derek was being paid, still on a coaches wage with the incentive of running a first eam, and be prepared to be late getting paid because of the ownership malarkey.

He put up a fight before he went though didn't he? He was the only one calling out the shit show at the club and had how many promises broken? Nobody can blame him for leaving, he was dragging this club along and had us dreaming of another promotion with a team full of borrowed players, kids and free agents. You can hold him leaving against him if you want because it goes along with the agenda many fans had against him because he wasn't happy clappy like previous managers or played this mythological football some fans dream of but will never happen.

What happens now? God knows. If we had 50 applicants, why did we give the job to a youth coach with no league management experience and rush him through his coaching badges?

Positives from today…

It’s 5-0 with four minutes left, so I don’t think they’ll get ten.
