Derek's last three games in charge.......

Derek's last three games in charge were Barrow...LOST, Grimsby...LOST and Blackpool...LOST. Ged's first two games in charge, Wrexham...LOST and Newport ...LOST. I believe the dip in form then and now is related to the Under 21 international games. We have a small squad of players and to lose 4/5 of them once every four weeks has had an impact on their form. Flying all over Europe and in the case of Bedeau, flying over to the Carribbean, cannot help the player's fitness. The squad becomes disrupted and the manager and coaches cannot hold full training sessions and prepare normally for the next game. I really wanted Derek to stay and I'm not going into all the speculation why he left, but we now have Ged in charge, once again I'm not going into all the speculation why Ged was given the job, but let's give him 100% support from now until the end of the season. It's a big step up from coach to manager and he will need all the help we, the supporters can give him.

Good point. How many more international breaks are there left?

I did voice my concern as to the impact of the international breaks on our winning streak but the first couple didn't seem to have much impact but I still think they are not helpful to the team in general.

Only one international break left for the season now and that's in March. No clue how many of our players respective nations have fixtures in that window either.
