Charlie Brown and Chris Stokes

Charlie Brown and Chris Stokes

Anyone any news about Charlie Brown who we haven't seen given any game time to date and also Chris Stokes who has been on the bench since the start of the season :?: :?: :?:

As for the Liverpool game I'd like to see both of the above (if fit ) given some meaningful game time and also for DA to play Tutonda in his favoured position on the left with Senior in his favoured position on the right of defence as a replacement for Love.....

Tomorrow's game is the chance for others who have not featured regularly to be given some game time but I suspect DA will not change significantly his starting 11 from that which have played most of our games to date.

I thought someone said Charlie Brown was injured.

Is it still £10,000 for the team that wins in 90 minutes ? If it is we need a strong team with us in our financial position.

I had a nightmare scenario dream the other day. If as the season goes on and say we do well and look as though we could challenge for a play-off place or even better , who thinks Jason may decide to put the sale on hold in case we go back to EFL 1 which makes the entity worth more ?

The club will need the 10k to help putting this ridiculous cup game on as there won’t be that many supporters there tomorrow night . Don’t think many people take this cup serious and all you are doing is putting your better players at risk against Liverpool under 12s

Could be a couple or so local Liverpool fans who never get to see their team especially those younger ones progressing into the first team squad.

DA mentioned one particularly exciting striker when discussing our players involvement in International call ups last week. Can't remember his name but think he is a Scot hence why Mellon never got into their squad.

Ben Doak you're referring to maybe? He'll be in Liverpool's Europa league squad and won't be anywhere near this I suspect

I believe that due to the lack of a sponsor this season the winning prize money at this stage has been reduced to £8,000.

In respect of promotion back to Division 1 I personally can't see it happening this season. Division 2 looks stronger this season than for a long time and to even get a sniff of the play offs we need to improve the away form dramatically. Mansfield and Harrogate games we were poor but there were promising signs at Gillingham, so never say never but I think it's a long shot.

Top half is possible and would be a good achievement this year after the chaos of the summer.

Chris Stokes was tweeting yesterday for a recommendation on a solicitor to act for him on a house purchase so must be settled in the area.

I would think he may get a start tonight against the young Scousers.
