Absolutely Marky.
They say games are won by inches. Not this one, one centimetre or two at best.
Never seen such an important game decided by so little - ever.

James could be off here
Nigeria on top

England have to do it with 10 players now.
Silly thing to do, totally unnecessary and could prove so costly
Extra time

Not really a fan of Women's footy and this morning is the first game I’ve watched at this World Cup. The standard is very poor and I can’t believe Nigeria haven’t won it in 90 mins. What the heck was that England player thinking when she stood on the Nigeria players back? Mind boggling. All out defence in extra time and hope to scab it on pens is their best hope now.

Very lucky and their worst performance so far
England have to improve drastically to progress on Saturday against JAMAICA or COLOMBIA
God knows what Lauren James was thinking about.. Ridiculous

So HT between Englands next opponents COLOMBIA or JAMAICA 0-0
Very bitty first half and two nervy sides. We will see tempers getting going second half

1-0 Colombia. Jamaica have to come out of their shell now. Big half for Man City forward Bunny Shaw
Would like to see Jamaica play England but think the South Americans have slightly more skill

Ooh Drew Spence so close for equaliser but just wide
Santos hits post for Columbia. Much better game now, Caicedo is such a young talent.

Thats it, COLOMBIA v ENGLAND on Saturday. It wont be easy

A premonition by the brilliant Kirsty McColl, from the glorious album 'Tropical Brainstorm'?

FRANCE v AUSTRALIA then ENGLAND v COLOMBIA today

i think France will just edge Australia and England will beat the South Americans eventually
despite Chelsea striker Sam Kerr and the tricky Caicedo who might have other plans
Should be tense, lets go ...

Ref appears to be auditioning for a place on the League Two list!    Two fouls that probably should have been yellow cards, but not even a free-kick given, then a perfectly good tackle, given as a free-kick. So far none of the poor decisions have made a difference to the game, but she's not started too well.

Good game so far.

ENGLAND equliser
Bad mistake from keeper Perez
Lauren Hemp 1-1
HT

England get out of jail but need to improve in the final third
Lots of posession but not much end product so far.
Colombia happy to hit on the break with a couple of young pacy strikers, a bit like Morecambe really

Ramirez POH

Phew! Lucky to be level. Cracking goal from Columbia, or, a really dreadful cross, that was so bad, it went in? I actually think it was a spectacular shot, after all, she South American!

Really lucky for England to get a soft equaliser right on 45+6 of 45+6!
