signed for Millwall - £85k on BBC.

would have loved to see him in a Morecambe shirt. Shows how transfer market is changing he would of been a few hundred thousand last summer.

If that figure is correct its one Hell of a bit of business by millwall - good luck to Steve could possibly be playing in the championship next season

It could be down to the clause in the contract that he signed which allowed him to leave if they didn't get promotion, possibly the figure of 85k was written into the agreement, if a club offered that much then they had to accept it.

Your right about the clause in the contract. We wanted to sign him in January but Stevenage wanted £500,000 then!
