Interesting assessment of how much money they need to get out of EFL2 and then follow that with further promotions..year on year....until the Premiership.

Got to admire their ambition....

Refreshing that a proper old Championship level club is having life breathed back into it rather than the usual vanity project of getting the dog and duck in front of 1000 fans into the Champ.

Good luck to them I say.

I think Wrexham have operated at the second tier level for around 5 years of their 160 year existence. They do have a proud history, mainly in cup competitions as a heavy underdog, but are not a club that has traditionally operated that high up the pyramid.
Hello! Hello! We are the Morecambe boys!

Were those 5 years between roughly 1985-1995? If so that's what's important

Wouldn't we be aiming for the same thing if we had the sort of money being pumped into us by people who are willing and able to prove what money they have ? ! !

Their players were treated to 4 days in Las Vegas for winning the League, at a cost of £1M apparently.

They have also got Man Utd, Chelsea and LA Galaxy for pre season in the USA

Hope Wrexham enjoy this time as sooner or later the money from the US will fall off the cliff.

Absolutely, Blackburn , Leicester, Southend, Chelsea spring to mind, Man City will crash when the oil men get bored. Shame a great sport revolves all around money

I don't think they will, at least, not for a few decades yet. If anything, it will get worse, as the Saudi money propels Newcastle further up, to be a two horse race for the foreseeable future. Their oil money isn't running out for a while yet.

While I agree about the dangers of wealthy men getting bored with their plaything, right now, I'd welcome one of Reynolds' mates in to Morecambe, with a barrel-load of money.

David Cameron. May 4th 2015.
So how did that work out then?

You and a few thousand others, we don't seem to attract people with proper money, they all seem to borrow it against the asset which has dwindled somewhat

The Wrexham pair have invested into Alpine Racing Formula One team, they are certainly on a spending spree
