Would have taken a draw at the start of the game but felt somewhat down that we didn't get all 3 as we certainly had the better of the goal chances whilst Bolton huffed and puffed a lot but didn't really threaten our goalkeeper.

Everybody played their part but why don't we press like that in every game giving them little time of the ball and hence reduce the threat going forward.

Cole was well marshaled by their MoM Santos who is a giant.

Let's hope that results elsewhere go for us this afternoon.

Evatt was his usual foul mouthed dick head who was constantly our of his boxed area on the touchline shaking his head and questioning decisions that went against his 'children'.

Good to see that the Bolton crowd were kept back until the majority of home fans had left the stadium.

I thought that charming man from Bolton looked very smart in his new shiny suit...but then he had to put his big coat on...the poor lickle soldier was feeling the cold... ;)

Everyone on the pitch played their hearts out....good to see Rawson get MOTM as well..

I thought we were the better side for most of the game and played the better football
. Shaw had the best chance of the game and we dealt with their attacks with some brilliantly organised defending. Defending like that just doesn't happen, it comes from hard work on the training ground and good coaching. The Ref was soft and fell for a few of their stunts but not the dives in the penalty area thankfully. Stand outs for me were Shaw, Hunter and Rawson. A good point and a fighting performance.

I thought the club did well controlling the crowd today and we had no problems at any point. I know that a few stayed away due to safety concerns but i do think the club were well organised for this one.

100% in agreement....the club must have worked hard to make sure things went off without any problems.

Credit where credit is due.

Even installed a barrier in the away dug out which I understand Bolton were not too happy about which resulted in the medics and co sitting in the front row of C Premier just behind the away dugout. Those used to sitting there sounded not to pleased about it....

That barrier has been in place in the away dugout since the P'boro home game. No idea why it is there but it must be a bit of Adam's shithousery

Great performance and whilst a draw was fair, we probably had the better chances. Boltons pressure mostly consisted of long balls and throws into our box which we dealt with well. We showed today that we belong in this division.

Whilst many of our pst performances seem to show that we don't! We have a lot more work to do before we can say that safely.

One of the best home performances this season in the second half. Dominated for large periods and really should have scored. Should have gone for a win but tightened up in the last ten mins. Still a valuable point

Might not be a popular view with some but IMHO Donald Love had a really good game yesterday and must have been pretty close behind Rawson for MOTM. He made some great runs down the right and put a couple of great crosses in that came close to being turned into goals. He defended well and looked like a captain , did you see him run over the pitch to tell our player taking a throw after Bolton put the ball out that he shouldn't give the ball back to them !

He has never been as bad as some of our fanbase will have you believe. Some of the abuse he has had is disgusting and Port Vale away was some of the worst behaviour i have seen from Morecambe fans towards one of our own. Full credit to Donald Love, he has never hid and puts in 100% every game.

It's a shame he didn't have the confidence to shoot with at least one of those runs. A few more strides and he was in the penalty area, which would have given the chasing player a decision to make. But yes, I agree, he was excellent. And I also agree, he was never bad enough to deserve the abuse that he received from some, although, saying it like that, no Morecambe player ever deserves that from 'our own'.

Gibson was superb as well.

So how did that work out then?

Best attacking display we've mustered in several weeks, all through putting a defender into midfield!

Couple of reasons for this I think - firstly that Gibson can concentrate on winning the ball back to let the others do what they do, and it's worth saying Gibson himself is very handy on the ball and reliable in possession. Second is that it we had Weir back in that slightly more advanced role where he was making more bursting runs into the attack. Sacrifice is moving Crowley out wide but he should still be able to affect the game from there - just a matter of how we compensate defensively.

Love rightly getting a lot of praise and he was excellent. Thought Melbourne did very well too going up against Bradley, who's highly rated. Good to see him kick on after the injury, and also means we can have Gibson in midfield. Rawson magnificent. Couple of rusty touches from Hunter but some of his deliveries were superb.
