Defender on for midfielder, while we're losing?

Weir was injured. Think we are running out of options of who to bring on.

What we would give for a goal from the halfway line now!

Gnahoua was my MotM until he was pushed up front on his own. Since then, he's barely touched the ball.

Well, I think a 1-0 loss is better than what I saw plenty of people predicting so I suppose that's a plus? Need to find a way to get something on the road though.

One of our better away performances today but lacking a bit of nous in the final third.

One, perhaps two shots on target, if we're lucky,

We weren't "lucky", so only the one shot on target.

We played well in many ways, but our creativity is zero. When we had two up front, we created more opportunities, and were scoring. Now, back to one up front and no real chances... ...again. Okay, if Mellon's header had gone in, instead of hitting the crossbar, perhaps it would have been different. Tuesday, we rode our luck, and won, today, we didn't get lucky with that one real chance, and we lost again.

Well all I can say is thank goodness other results have gone in our favour as we never looked like scoring!
As things stand I don't know where goals will come from. We need to be more direct in our approach play and get more shots away, at least make the opposition goalkeeper work. Eight shots, only one on target is not good enough, it certainly won't get us away from the bottom.
It's a bit like our days in League 2, watching the results from the teams around us hoping that they lose.
Nervous times. Derek rescued us last season, can he do it this time?
We all really hope so.
COME ON YOU MORECAMBE REDS.

A decent performance without creating much. Despite his disappointing season Stockton might have made a difference today. Arthur certainly had one of his better days but we are going to struggle for goals. A shame really as we played well.

Sounds like a frustrating afternoon. Need an away win soon. Hopefully four points from the next two. COYS

Kieran Phillips injury is going to cost us this season

If he played today we would have got at least a draw

Enjoyed the game , deserved a point but yet again officials shocking

Rooney ...handball simple as that NOT GIVEN

I agree Redalert about Kieran Phillips injury. He gave us pace directness and an eye for goals that we now lack. We played really well at Fleetwood but got nothing from the game.

I thought we played well and pretty much bossed most of the game. We were really good up till the final third where our final ball was very poor. Fleetwood were very route one but had some quality out there. Big Faz had stockley in his pocket and we won the battle in the middle. Very frustrating but don't buy in to the doom and gloom spouted on here or on tye terrace.

What a classy young man CMG is which is more than can be said for the muppets booing him.

Anyone who booed Carlos yesterday probably had too many sherbets before the game
