Return of the TARDIS

Return of the TARDIS

Postby shrimp in cyprus » Tue Jan 24, 2023 3:52 pm

Hi all.

Out here in Cyprus I am involved in some experimental time travel work and we have developed a time travel machine which for obvious reasons we have called "THE TARDIS". Still early days, but this morning I volunteered to climb aboard and see what happened. I have just returned to normal time, and must admit that it was totally fascinating!!

We went into the future and I really enjoyed it. As a result of this, I obviously now know this evenings football results. I thought I would share them with you (those who don't want to know, look away now!).

BOLTON 3 FGR 0
FLEETWOOD 1 PORTSMOUTH 2
IPSWICH 1 MORECAMBE 2
MK DONS 1 SHREWSBURY 4
BURTON & CHELTENHAM games were off because of frozen pitches.

8-) 8-) 8-) 8-) 8-) 8-) 8-)

I'd ask for your money back. For the Tardis that is, not the drugs, 'cause the drugs were clearly working well!

So how did that work out then?

We have now discovered that there is a faulty switch in THE TARDIS.

We think it is the IP SWITCH .................!!!!!!! :D :D :D

And as for the drugs working fine Keith ................ they should be because I am a retired pharmacist (and that bit is true!!!).

Overall, a poor result for us, but apart from goal difference damage, not a bad set of results really.
