Probably yes if it was in our interests to free up a wage for another player in a position we want to strengthen. Otherwise the player going out may not wish to move which would be in his rights to stay until his contact expires.

According to this site

https://www.capology.com/club/morecambe/salaries/

Liam Shaw and Jensen Weir are our top earners - partly or wholly paid by their parent clubs?

Then Cole Stockton, Obika, A OC and Duffus are in the top 7, along with loanee Caleb Watts.

Sheffield Wednesday have an annual wage bill of £6.7 million whereas we have a wage bill og £1.14 million. That's 3rd lowest after Accy - £785,000 and Port Vale, a really low £310,000. Maybe explains how we were able to attract Jake Taylor?

We have nobody in the top 100 earners and some of these salaries are extraordinary (according to this site)

We aren’t the lowest, but that Port Vale claim is bollocks. And ours is above that which is stated from what I can gather.

O'Connor leaves. Good signing for Harrogate if you believe Twitter rumours. Cheers for giving us the lead at Spurs. A feeling I'll never forget.
