Could do a lot worse!

Loads of money & loves the town. We'd certainly get the media attention. Hope it is done in time for January!

Can he afford it..... ;)

IF it happens then I would hope that he lets the current BoD continue as they have and are doing a superb job.

Would be amazing and wipe out all the debts, my only issue is he can be an up and down so might make some crazy off the cuff decisions, it sure would be interesting.

Would he pass the FA fit and proper test to become an owner , just because you are minted doesn’t mean he is right for ownership .

Unless they've changed it in the past few years, to pass you basically just need to have not had any major criminal convictions and not have bankrupted multiple companies in the past. It's not really much of a test!

One of my favourite sportsman of all time, with his story and how down to earth he is so Why not?

He lives locally, he is very passionate about Morecambe as a town itself and football, he clearly has money to invest also. And in addition to that he is a high profile, extremely successful sportsman who has a genuine interest in the community I really hope this would happen.

Hilarious quote about Jim White!! He doesn’t even know the 3/4 of the teams in the Premier League let alone anyone else.
He thinks football is the big 6. And talks bollocks. (can I say that? Andy :D )

Will be great for publicity as well

Look at Wrexham
Often get a mention cos of the superstar owners

May even get a game televised ( if they know Tyson will be there)

As much as it would be excellent for OUR club I wouldn't want Tyson to turn our club into a millionaires play thing.

I don't think those 2 statements go together well RR. Perhaps you should expand what a have in mind with 'a millionaires plaything'.

I know what you mean Red Robo (I think!!), but I wonder how many Worcester Warriors supporters would worry about that if somebody had been able to come in and "save" the club.

I kind of know what you mean, but we pretty much need a multimillionaire to come in, so it may as well be someone who loves the town and can afford it too.

Noticed that there was an Asia family in the Directors box today who were given a look around the stadium with one of our Directors.

Could have been part of the Barnsley contingent.... :?: :?: :?:
