It looks like the original contract offer to me. But it's clear that the club are not going to accept the 'derisory' offers. The reference to Cole being aware that the owners have a sum wanted is a bit obvious and seems to suggest that he might not be too happy with the situation. Just my take on it!

This is getting a bit like the Sam Lavelle situation this time last year. He moved I think a couple of hours before the window closed leaving us missing a key man and our best defender.

Presumably the management team have a contingency plan for that eventuality this season , it would be a disaster to be left with just Obika as a main striker until January.

Let's hope it is resolved one way or the other this week so that there is time to bring someone in if Cole does move on.
