Released form Salford at the end of last season, surprised he has been named and not just Trialists A

be a good signing, plays like a wing/forward, he’d basically be replacing Ayunga.

Quite a good goal scoring record at Fleetwood. Appears to have a discipline problem but DA would sort that. Played out of position by all accounts at Salford and another Greg Strong connection.

Can't see much room for loan deals if we give him a contract but we've got to somehow move on McDonald at the very least.

Anybody got a spare fiver to pay him off..... :?: :?: :?:

We have made Ash Hunter an offer that he is considering Derek said after the game.

Derek interview: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BNrPofk ... otballClub

Was excellent in the second half, both individually and was linking up nicely with Melbourne and Watts. Really hope we can get the deal done.

To get others in, even loans, we will have to ship a couple out I’m hearing.
Ash Hunter scored both goals for Salford in our defeat at their place in the promotion season. He was easily their best player played centrally behind the strikers, but hasn’t played their much.
Let’s hope he takes the offer, though, wouldn’t surprise me if Cods came sniffing again as he has apparently grown up since being with them!

good interview, time limit on deals offered to players, so if Ash Hunter hasn't signed this deal by next week fair to say its not happening.

also DA praising 4G pitches.

Not really, Derek’s confirmed that we have the funds to sign 3 more players as it stands.

For me, the possible signing of Ash is critical for our future as a competitive team in EFL1. Playing just behind the central striker proved at Fleetwood that he is more than capable of providing those much needed goals from midfield and would take much of the pressure of Cole and could actually increase Cole's goal scoring record because as it is now Cole is our sole threat up front with neither Arthur or Dylan providing much of a goal threat.

Ash was played out of position at Salford and I'm sure our recruitment manager was and is very much aware of that hence why he and DA are so keen that he signs on the dotted line being very conscious of the need to improve our goals tally from midfield.

Mikael Mandron is another name I have seen linked with us. A former Crewe player , seems quite highly though of.

Could be a replacement if Cole goes elsewhere?

and Scott Quigley is rumoured.

don't be surprised, DA will be preparing for any late bids for Cole Stockton

Mandron has signed for Gillingham. A replacement for Oliver.

Officially signed, 1 year deal.

Think this could be a very very good deal. Relied a lot on Stockton for our goals last season, any chance to spread it around some is a good thing.

Looks like decent player. Hopefully not the last signing but if we hang on to Cole we might just have enough to avoid too much trouble this season

Proven goalscorer from midfield and wing. Excellent signing and will improve our team.

Well done to the entire management team and another example of our BoD backing the manager.
