O/T Sunderland go to Wembley

The Black Cats have had their ticket allocation for the game increased to 46500 and.....YES sold out already.

Incredible that we could still be playing them again next season but I for one hope they win through and get back to the Championship.

I found their fans at the last game of the season excellent and showed the Bolton lot up for what a minority are......scum .... :!: :!: :!:

I'd rather see WW promoted as they were hard done by last season when Derby should've been relegated. Sunderland will fill out our away end when they play us again too! :D
Don't worry be happy!

On the subject of play offs and finance did I once read somewhere that a proportion of ticket monies generated from play off games goes into a pot to benefit other teams in the Division? If so the massive attendances at the Sheff Wed and Sunderland games could benefit the less wealthy clubs quite nicely. Or did I dream this?

The only thing I can find states that 50% of the gate money goes into a 'pool account' but it doesn't state what happens to it after that. With circa 80,000 watching the Sunderland v Sheffield play off games and probably a similar number heading to the final, the pool account is going to have a lot of money passing through it. Does it benefit us in the slightest?

My understanding is that any available monies are made to clubs depending on their size and turnover.

I suspect we will be close to if not bottom of the food chain.
