Great interview with Aaron on the official site. I hope he gets another contract and is able to stay injury free next season. He's been an excellent player for the club.

So how did that work out then?

After hearing his interview and his speech at the awards, I thought it sounded like goodbye

To me it sounded like nobody who is out of contract will know until Monday when they come in to talk to Derek.

Derek made him captain which was a good move so he must rate him.

DA will know what Aaron can bring to the party as he has done it before under his management. We will need that experience in my opinion next season possibly as Captain so I hope Aaron gets the contract he deserves. This season has been tough for him with training ground injuries but DA has shown he has faith in his capabilities and a new contract hopefully is there.....he deserves it ..... :)

I suspect a number on 2 year contracts will be offered a way out and leave with our thanks.

He was only on loan from Leeds so no big surprise....

Hope he can make it at Leeds next season or it could be another loan.

I hope he stays, he is a class act on and off the pitch. I just felt with his choice of words and the way he stopped himself from saying things that he already knows he is away. I really hope not.

Struggled with fitness under Jim and Robinson but they also misused the lad. Jim played him in a 2 man midfield alongside the likes of Tutte and the snake never gave him a fair crack. Derek has got him playing the way he likes and he is a good L1 midfielder.

He's one of the first names on Derek's team sheet and captain would be surprised if he went.

Bit surprised that AOC didn't do the captains speech last night he still does the captains notes in the prog.

We should know who's staying and who has been offered new contracts in next few days.
