Someone remind me what results we need from the other games, it's too early for me to logic it out myself.

After a Phillips free-kick fails to beat the first defender...

"Not what you expect from Adam Phillips set pieces"

Err... yeah, that's exactly what we've come to expect from his free-kicks!

Got to admit it was a superb goal, but how does a defender dribble from deep in his own area with no-one trying to make a tackle?

Phillips is having one of his numpty games    Gave away possession very weakly on the edge of our penalty area, leading to a dangerous shot, and good save from Carson. He needs to get his head on, too important for a passenger.

Milton Keynes are in control at the moment and we're struggling for the last ten or so.

We're under the cosh. Being pulled all over the place in defence. Our brief ventures forward are snuffed out because we don't get men out of defence fast enough.
Portsmouth 1-1 Gillingham. Not good!

It's going to need a tremendous change to get anything out of this game. Can't rely on other results, goal difference is going to count a lot, keep the score line down.

COME ON YOU MORECAMBE REDS. NEED YOU MORE THAN EVER NOW.

Portsmouth 2 Gills 1 late in storage time.

I think Wildig is carrying a knock, otherwise, I'd agree, Phillips has been very poor.

On every one of our rare attacks they have 2 or 3 defenders around the player with the ball. No chance of a pass and the attack breaks down. When they go forward it's fast and they have men over.
I hope that Derek can come up with tactics to break them down.
