The run in

Today's point was huge for us, because now, Gillingham must either draw their last two and hope we lose both by -3 goals or more, or win one of the two. That's a tough call. Lose today, and conceivably, they may have only needed one draw.

We deserved all three points today, their keeper was MotM, although the Football League show won't show it like that.

After yesterday Sunderland don't look like they can be in the automatic places.

If they can get some points in their next 2 games they will be safely in the play-offs and could be resting a few for the game with us.

Another scenario might be that both Sunderland and ourselves require one point from the game to achieve our objectives!

Now that would be interesting 8-)

MK Dons are not safe for automatic play offs and Sunderland are not safe for play offs :(

In both of our next games all teams are going to be flat out for a result

Lots of speculation, but who thought Arsenal would beat Chelsea at Stamford Bridge :?

I'm not unhappy with that. Our last couple of games against 'already on the beach', Charlton & Portsmouth were certainly not easy. The next two, plenty of pressure on the opposition. I think we're good enough to win one, or at least, get a draw, which will quite probably be enough.

Interesting spread in the Prediction Competition thread for the Milton Keynes game. So far:

5 Milton Keynes win
4 Morecambe win
4 Draws.

Despite my prediction of a Morecambe win, a draw would be an excellent outcome, that would really put pressure on the other two who are directly below us. It is ironic that while we're playing in Milton Keynes, eyes will be on whether Wimbledon can get something at Fleetwood. It is incredible to think that with two games left, Wimbledon are not yet relegated, despite not winning since 7th December, twenty-six games ago, when they beat Accrington. If they win tomorrow, they could still catch us, and would go in to the last game of the season with a better goal difference...

...and playing Accrington!

MORECAMBE

Milton Keynes away
Sunderland home

GILLINGHAM

Portsmouth away
Rotherham home

FLEETWOOD

Wimbledon home
Sheffield Wed home
Bolton away

WIMBLEDON

Fleetwood away
Accrington home

A Wimbledon win tomorrow, and a draw or better for the Shrimps and we are safe IMO as I can't see Fleetwood getting anything from the game vs Sheffield Wednesday given the form both are in.

I am quietly confident of survival as it is to be honest given we have taken 10 points from the last 15, and arguably should've accrued more... but our goal difference is a big concern given how tight everything is and looking at the respective fixtures. I just hope that does not come back to haunt us in the final game. UTFS

Gillingham are the key for me. I can't see them picking anything up from either of their games.

Agreed. One point against Portsmouth at the most.

Gillingham have tough games but have had a bit more about them in picking up results since Harris took over.

Fleetwood are a bit chaotic and while they have Wimbledon this Saturday, their final two games against Sheffield Wednesday and Bolton are very tough (Bolton are in good form, despite not having anything to play for).

Wimbledon have the 'easiest' run-in but look pretty gone, although if they beat Fleetwood on Saturday that would draw them level on points. They've not won since December against Accrington, who incidentally they've also got on the final day!

We have a very tough run-in, but sit in pole position and are in very good form. Hopefully we can do Sheff Weds a favour by beating MK Dons on Saturday, opening things up for them to overtake MK by beating and putting Fleetwood out of sight from us on Tuesday!
