Will be a very difficult game to get 3 points against a team seeking to get back into the promotion race.

However with the home crowd in full voice and the increased confidence in the team following the Burton performance and the tactical genius that is DA who knows what can happen.... :?: :?: :?:

Providing we get something out of the game we could catch the Gills with this game in hand.

Will not be easy and could be a back against the wall display but this is Morecambe FC where anything is possible.... :!: :!: :!:

I think 2 wins , 2 draws and 2 defeats (let's hope there are no defeats !) will be enough to keep us up.

If you accept Crewe and Doncaster are both gone , that realistically leaves Morecambe , Wimbledon , Fleetwood and Gillingham fighting it out for 2 places above the dotted line.

8 points would give us 43 points. Hard to see Wimbledon getting the 4 wins they would need to be above that. If our wins were decent like yesterday then our goal difference would keep us above the Gills and they would need 7 points from 5 games to be 1 point above us. Fleetwood seem to have the best run in with 4 homes and 2 aways.

Tomorrow, home to Lincoln is a must win for them, or, must lose for us. Lincoln are safe now, so hopefully they won't already be planning their summer holiday. A Lincoln win will have Cod arses twitching. They have the easiest run in, but equally, seven games in 25 days may be tough on them? Yes, more straw clutching!

So how did that work out then?
