The Globe Arena Review

Postby GlosGroundhop » Fri Apr 01, 2022 10:20 am

My review of Morecambe’s recent game against Cheltenham Town can be seen below.
*I am aware the ground is now called the Mazuma Stadium, but it is still mainly known as the Globe Arena :) *

Made my eyes hurt!

Size 12 font at least please! White text on red background isn't easy at the best of times, but a font that small...

So how did that work out then?

Hi Keith, thanks for the feedback. I will certainly take it on board and work to find the right colour scheme. Hope you enjoyed the content otherwise. I really enjoyed our trip to Morecambe.

Hi, I’m sorry you feel this way. I enjoyed my trip to Morecambe anyway. Hope you guys stay up, as you have been the most welcoming club that we’ve been to this season. Good luck for the rest of the season

After reading the comments above I clicked on your link expecting some grotesque mish-mash of colour and unreadable content.
I had no problem with the colour or the reading of the text,(and I am ancient and wear glasses) remembering that Cheltenham's strip is red & white.
The blog was a credit to you and I hope your fellow Cheltenham fans appreciate your efforts, as I hope our fans appreciate the efforts of the Doc for his reports.

Great feedback  did you even read it ? I thought it was a good write up. Can you do any better? If you can I’d love to see it.

My advice is to remember that different browsers can display differently. Size 12 font is the recommended minimum that displays well on all. I think it is even an access recommendation for visually impaired people. Personally, the font & colour used was very difficult, so I gave up! I wear vary-focal glasses, so found the 'focus' point was I incredibly narrow.

Ironically, I'm now sat in a cafe, and read it on my mobile phone, which was easier! Good write up. :D

No I just posted it without reading it - I wouldn't have the time to bother honestly, but if I did I wouldn't call Cheltenham's stadium The World of Smile Stadium.

It was a good read, but you do need to accept that our ground is now the Mazuma Stadium. To insist on calling us the Globe makes you look rude and rather patronising which I'm sure you don't intend. Mazuma Mobile are a local company who have provided much needed support (and a ludicrous new mascot) this season. They deserve some recognition for that. Glad you enjoyed your visit though
