What does next weeks game mean to us exactly?

For you i can understand how a pre season friendly against us is already your game of the season.

Sgt Major, the Captain (Pedantic), would like to point out - in response to your question "why cant I still not buy a replica shirt?" that you can!

.....still not buy a replica shirt.
Is the glass half full or half empty? Mmmm? hard to say - but it does look like there's room for more beer!

How many were there last night BTW? I went to Beauty and the Beast instead. Don't really do friendlies but might pop down to the axe next Tuesday. Real stuff starts in 18 days!

Tuesday Night, only a friendly, two friendlys comming up I'd rather go to, Carlisle and Lancaster, first 2 real matches are away, Notts and Wycombe, not a difficult decision really, just wanted to save some cash. I'll be there when the season proper starts.

Nice to get a good few comments on this one.

It was just a pity that there were not as many to see what I thought was a very good performance by the team.

My own opinion to the crowds is that the prices are too high for the majority in what we still view as a training exercise.

I always expect a low attendance for pre-season game because they din't mean anything the results are ofen just forgot about and with 2 away games in the first few days of the season moat people will be saving there money for that don't need to bother about support at the pie untill August 16thy (V Bury) for the record I was there
