Ipswich

Ipswich

21 years ago this was the biggest match in our history. Now just another league fixture :)

Should be another 5000+ gate and hopefully a positive result. How many can claim to have been to all four fixtures?

Me, for starters. Amazing to think back to Ipswich being fourth in the Premier League when we played them at Christie Park.

David Cameron. May 4th 2015.
So how did that work out then?

Sadly I missed the game this season but three out of four isn't too bad.

Have Ipswich sold out the away end?

Looks like they're still on sale on the Ipswich website.

And am I correct in remembering Mick Mills being their captain at the time. Happy to be corrected.

Yep I'm a member of the all four club too. When we played them in the FA cup at CP I thought we made a decent fist of it first half but they looked a top class team in the second and we hardly touched the ball. They were second (was it?) in the highest league in the country at the time so not too surprising against part timers. In the second cup game down there it was game set and match when Jimbo was harshly sent off early doors. This season I was hugely disappointed to only get a draw out of the game at their place which shows how far our club has come!

Now I come to think of it have we actually played them four times yet?? Won't Saturday be the fourth time Have I missed something here? I have old age as a defence if I've got this wrong. I will be a member of the all four club after Saturday....God Willing :D

Yeah! :-)

So I won't be in the 'all four' club, as I'll not be there this weekend!

Does that mean I will be the only member of the all four club. What an accolade! :o
