0 - 1 win. Things are starting to look bleak, and it'll be worse if we lose on Saturday.

We keep messing up these "must win" games. Surely, we'll get one of them right?

0-2

I think if we can get an early goal, we will be fine. Dominating games without putting the ball in the net, or, like Lincoln, allowing the opposition to grow in confidence, will lead to another defeat or draw, which isn't much better. There are too many teams around us who will play each other, so they are guaranteed points 'somewhere'. We've made it tough for ourselves, anything other than a win on Saturday will make the task enormous.

Them 1 us 1. Very tense affair. They will be happier with a draw than we would be, so I predict a tight cagey game.

Keep the defence tight, cut out silly little errors, shoot on sight (even from med - long range).
Shrewsbury 1- Shrimps 2.

We need to improve on our shooting and without qustion our dead ball routines which are so predictable and show little creativity.

I would assume that those people who are predicting defeat at Shrewsbury on Saturday ( against our last remaining opponent currently in the bottom 8) are by implication resigned to the Shrimps being relegated on the basis that we won’t get points from our visit to Shrewsbury!

My prediction is more about how our games go, even if we go ahead. We play some good stuff but we simply don't do it for 95 minutes.
Loss of concentration and silly mistakes cost us.
We don't pick up points away from home too often and also haven't been beating the teams around us bar Fleetwood last year, with a last gasp wondergoal.
Cole also seems to be subdued from his usual self, just hope we can get Ayunga and Obika to continue improvement and we may just shock some of the higher teams and are still in with a chance by the time we play Sunderland.
Enjoy yourself.... It is later than you think

Feels like we're at the point where we desperately need a win from somewhere. They're in a rough run of form and I think we are starting to look better so I do have faith that this might be the game where it finally all clicks. There's a tough run of fixtures ahead of us so it will do wonders for confidence if we can get our heads above water sooner rather than later.

Assuming we don't just sit back for the first 10 minutes, and anyone who gets a chance has the confidence to shoot, I reckon we'll come away with a 3-1 win - after another horrendous bit of defending at a set piece.
