Evatt really got it in for our club in yet ANOTHER attack on our Stadium and Stewards BUT no mention of the objects thrown by their fans or the post match trouble involving a disabled supporter or the damage done to a train.......

Should we really be surprised.... :?: :?: :?:

"Evatt could see his players were upset by the episode but expressed pride in how they channelled their emotions in the correct manner...."

I nearly choked on me digestive when I read that little gem....

"...young black footballers who have never witnessed anything like that before, they needed support".

I absolutely agree, 100%. And as he's now claiming there were multiple incidents of racial abuse, and/or loud enough that multiple players heard the abuse, it really must be clearly loud enough that the fourth official heard it, as he was stood right next to Evatt. I think we must rely upon the fourth official and what he reported, as the only truly independent person there.

What did the fourth official hear?
Did the fourth official accurately identify the abusive person?
Has the fourth official reported what he heard to the police and to the club?
If the fourth official didn't hear the racial abuse, how is that explained?

Also,

Did the fourth official hear the allegations of Bolton players and/or management using 'foul & abusive language' towards members of the crowd?
Have any spectators who claim they were abused, made counter claims against Bolton officials or players?

Obviously, these are rhetorical questions that I don't want speculating on here, only answering when official statements are released.

On a side-note, I would really like to know, are Morecambe police investigating the assault on a disabled fan as a "hate crime" (as it is defined by the Crown Prosecution Service)? If not, why not?

So how did that work out then?

Absolutely right in all this Keith. We must now leave it to the police, football officials and the club to investigate.

His nose just gets longer and longer as the days go by. As stated it will be crucial what the fourth official has to say being in the thick of it. Possibly the only neutral presence of the two factions.

Also crucial that our supporters in the area concerned come forward to add anything relevant to the enquiry. From what I've heard and read no one, but no one heard any of the alleged racist abuse. They all seem to deplore anything racist and would be the first to condemn it if it actually happened but none of them heard what Evatt and his team heard.

We had big crowds against Wigan and Sheff Wed without any problems

Maybe cry baby Evatt should take a look at his own fans

Don’t remember Wigan fans storming the pitch when they won or either club throwing missiles at our keeper

The Wednesday fans were superb. A lot were in town for the weekend and were happy to drink with us at night. Even though we beat them they took it on the chin and it was all good natured. No issues with Wigan either.

I hope there's a swift resolution to this one.

It appears that only one individual was involved and if guilty I am sure they will be punished accordingly.

Although Evatt is an arsehole he is right about the dug-outs being a recipe for trouble.

Nobody would want to go to work and have people a couple of yards away calling you nasty names. How can it be re-designed and altered ?

Relocating the row just above the dug outs in C Premier and the installation of a clear roof over the dug outs could be an answer

ALSO

the relocation of the dug outs to the opposite side ie Berlin Wall but that will require both management teams and their match day subs / back room staff walking across the pitch..which is no big deal but can't see any other way to rectify the current problem assuming that there is a problem.... :?: :?: :?:

Bolton Wanderers have issued a statement tonight regarding their fans behaviour. It is a very fair statement and they pull no punches.

what a horrible man this fella is to quote him

The Whites boss took his players from the field, shortly before the final whistle, after consulting referee Ross Joyce, after the away bench was said to have been bombarded with racist abuse.

this is absolute lies and a total disgrace that someone should stoop to such levels

mr potato
what are you suggesting ?? do you think people should be banned ? if so how many people

was you in that area to know what was said and who by ?
i have seen your comments on different social platforms
you say people in c prem section shouldn't chant towards the away dug out
does the same chants not happen from plain old c section ?

your right there is no place for racism in society i agree however you don't know what was said
any comments of bombarded with racial abuse is nothing short of blatant lies

does your beloved sean dyche not get comments thrown at him from away supporters
99% of comments from c prem are just banter do players not say things each other to wind them up as the game is going on we had the master of it at the globe for 9 years

Dazza, thanks for 5he stalking, any attention is nice at my age, just for clarity, I have no problem with banter or chanting anywhere, the c prem essentially is a bad design, overlooking the dugouts like a bear pit , something like this was inevitable, whoever's at fault.
I am confident that it will be altered soon with some kind of roof or screen, which needs to be asap.
As much as I dislike Evatt misquoting him is unhelpful, he never said they were bombarded with constant racist abuse, just abuse, and one racist comment.

The comment at the start of the post isn’t taken out ofcontext. I’m not misquoting
I’m using what was written in the Bolton/ Manchester press. I copied and pasted that ,it’s not me making a mistake

As for stalking don’t flatter yourself I have you on Facebook as a friend and have known you a Burnley fan for many a year
If you’d like any confirmation who I am. No issue drop me a Dm here and I’m happy to share who I am

I’m aware of the behaviour of the Bolton manager and members of his staff and his players
He also knows the guy who was first asked to leave never made a racist comment and despite death threats to the chap and his family evitt has never came out and said there wasn’t a alleged racist comment at that point
Also he had already encroached on to the pitch threatening to remove his team before any alleged comment. His behaviour, his teams fans behaviour, played a part in the what proceeded again he’s omitted that. As well as the behaviour last year when there fans shouldn’t have even been here
He allowed his team to go and acknowledge the fans outside the ground at no point has he denounced there behaviour.

How many matches have we played at the Globe/Mazuma stadium? Why should we alter anything after one allegation from a manager who endured the (alleged) abuse until his team looked like they were going to lose? It was a good distracting tactic and he got a result from it!
