After the first goal conceded against Wednesday, somebody replied to the 1-0 tweet and tagged Letheren's wife. There was a bit of back and forth but I can't see it anymore because she's deleted her account. The tweet that seems to have wound a few up though is where she said "Hand on heart couldn't give a flying fuck if it was 25-0... I still sleep at night. In fact you just woke me up"

Not sure where it's gone from there but a few not happy with Letheren about it.

Personally don't understand why you'd tag his wife in the first place and direct any abuse her way and then get upset when she gives a bit back. What she said wasn't really that bad was it? Obviously it wasn't a great thing to say but she was provoked into saying it and I couldn't really care if she supports the team or not.

This isn’t the first time she’s been mouthing off, that’s why she was tagged. She constantly replied to tweets about the need to replace Letheren with derogatory comments about Robbo and the club and how changing keeper wouldn’t help. When Jökull was starting for us, she often slated him, a 20 year old by the way, and called for Letheren to get back in the side. It was commonplace to see her get into arguments about him with Jökull’s friends and family. She liked and replied with clapping emojis to various tweets such as the following “Don’t think it’s the players, have to ask yourself who would want to play for this manager.”

She is a horrible person and her response to being tagged sums her up.

Having said that, I remember someone saying “I’m not convinced by Letheren”, to which she replied “I wasn’t convinced by him when I married him but I understand where you’re coming from.”

I suppose we will know tomorrow if Karl has played his last game for us. If he has it's a huge thanks from me for his part in getting us into EFL2.

Considering he was No2 at his previous non league club we rescued him from obscurity something that I'd like to think he and his family are grateful for.
