SORRY!!!

SORRY!!!

Postby Keith » Thu Feb 03, 2022 12:19 pm

So, basically, the debit card that I used to renew the domain name 'shrimpsvoices.co.uk' had expired. In the two years since it was last registered, the email address used had been switched off. I hadn't received email notifications regarding the card and couldn't log on to set up a new one. Typical that this all happened while I was away from home, as the passwords needed were on my desktop.

Due to the four-hour time difference, I only really had time for one round of emails, so sorting it out has been a pain in the bum.

But here we are!

Really sorry for the inconvenience everyone, especially to those of us who play the Prediction Competition.

PS: Due to the hassle experienced, I noticed that ShrimpsVoices was first registered on the 19th January 2002.

Yes, it was ShrimpsVoices twentieth birthday last month!

TWENTY YEARS OLD!?!?!? :o  :o  :o

It is bizarre to think about some of the younger fans who've made such a fantastic difference to the atmosphere at games, then realise, we've got a forum older than them! 8-)

I predicted a 2.2 at Accy and a 2.0 loss at Hillsborough so I've zoomed up the table

Hey Keith - could you update the club crest at the top of the page to the new version?

Don't worry, let's just assume I've predicted the last few matches perfectly.

Great to have SV's back! Cheers Keith for all you do! My prediction was either my PC blocker or provider was playing up, or that you'd dropped your laptop/mobile in the pool

I was rude enough to interrupt Keith's holiday over it - and it still took days to sort :x

Cheers Keith, fully appreciate your efforts, it's just 10 days without social media :o

Great to have Shrimps Voices back again. I have missed reading all the news and banter between fellow fans.

Certainly no need to apologise Keith. I admit to being one of the SV members chasing you up about this when you were on holiday. So I am more than happy to say SORRY!!!

It's great to have it back, and because I have been extremely busy, I didn't even realise that it was back until this morning.

So, thank you Keith for everything you do to keep Shrimps Voices up and running - just don't take any more holidays!!!!!!! :D :D :D :D

That's the scary thought :o  :o And there was a 'discserver' forum for a while before Michael 'Posh' Gibson came up with the name 'ShrimpsVoices'.
