View from Needham Ave

Postby New_Ground_Watcher » Tue Apr 28, 2009 6:35 pm

Hi all, I've been reading SV for a while but never bothered joining till now. I've got a great view of the new ground from my back bedroom window so thought i'd give you updates from time to time as to what is going on. The good news is that there's been a digger and two bulldozers out there today till about 5.30pm!

Photos already being taken ;) Just need somewhere to put them but don't worry, it's being sorted.

Work should have started to clear the bushes at the westgate frontage of the club's land, this doesn't impact on Westgate Wanderers.

Sorry fellas but no updates from CC for a while due to transport problems.

BUT it will be sorted for the Pre-season Training updates....assuming that I'm given the green light by Sammy and Mark.

Yes just been down to have a look myself and all the trees have been cut down and the bushes are been cleared, the club must know about CC hidding in them

Looks like the road will come out a couple of yards infront of the bus stop opposite Westgate caravan park.

When do Westgate actually move to King Georges is it at the end of the season?

The league season has finished for my lads team, but there's a end of season comp organised by Lune and Distict League to be played, but that's at the college.

Shouldn't be any real reason why they haven't moved already, not like they had a clubhouse to move or anything! :(

When there's somewhere secure and there's enough work going on to make it worth watching, I'm fairly sure the club will do something themselves. It's massive for them as well as the supporters ;) The stadium site is being changed to host a photo gallery, can't imagine why

Is their so little to occupy us fans at the moment ;)

Show me some pics when the ground starts to look like a ground and not a building site.

I drove past this afternoon and someone was stood on the wall of the caravan park opposite taking photographs of the work in progress. I get the feeling that this is going to be one of the most photographed piece's of land in Morecambe.
