FA cup match TV or other live streaming

Postby captain sparkle » Thu Jan 06, 2022 1:41 pm

Apologies if this has been covered, I looked but couldn't find anything.
Is it possible to watch this match?
Where? How?
the only thing I seem to be able to find is DAZN Japan, but I guess we can't watch that, or can we if we use a VPN? would that be legal?
If somebody wanted to point to a live stream online, would that be legal?
or would it just be illegal to watch it?

Thankyou for that.
Looks like Sportsnet Now is $35 ( for a month) but would it work OK here in UK?
& ESPN+ is for the US only.

Of course, on a totally separate note, people have been known to use these new fangled VPNs, for an extra security measure, I believe.
I've never used one myself, wouldn't know where to start (in terms of reliability, security & actual "does it work" capability)
Could anyone recommend such a product, purely for an extra home security precautionary measure, of course?

If you do internet banking or on-line shopping over hotel or similar Wi-Fi's you DEFINITELY should run a VPN for additional security. On a home network it is still not a bad idea, although the risk of information being intercepted and hacked is much less.

I use Nord VPN is currently £58.46 for two years, but has a one month trial. I've had Nord for a few years now and find it generally fast & reliable. Occasionally it slows down, but then simply disconnect & reconnect, it will choose a faster server.

Nord also has something called 'double VPN', which some people sometimes find useful.

https://nordvpn.com/

Cyberghost gets good reviews and also has double VPN. It is slightly cheaper than Nord but I've never used it.

There are 'free' VPN's out there, but they tend to be slow in comparison to paid for ones. Obviously, for internet banking, speed isn't an issue, but then it comes down to 'trust'. I've never been happy sending my information through a 'free' service, when I don't really know who is ultimately behind it.

Thanks Keith, the Nord seems to keep cropping up, I really should give it a go! Just decide who does the best deal.
Thanks for the other suggestions, you know who you are! 8-)

Good find!
Apparently, from last month, you can add it to Amazon Prime for £14.99 (a month) & then cancel anytime, that's what it looks like to me anyway.
If you don't have Amazon Prime maybe you could take out the 30 day trial, add Premier 2 then cancel?
Just a thought!

From how I see it, it is Republic of Ireland only.

If only you had a VPN...

Seriously, not sure how/if it would work. If you knew someone with an address in the ROI who could register for you, then use a VPN it *might* work. It may be a bit 'last minute'? You'd probably have to pay in Euros if you are going to 'pretend' to be Irish!

I use an app called Livescore for football scores, you can watch some games on there, some really odd ones like the Bolivian second division, but you can watch some games like serie a if you have a "funded Livescore bet account" and our game is apparently of those. I don't gamble so haven't ever tried it, but you could always deposit the minimum amount and then watch the game, then withdraw it?

Funny you should say that, I've got a Paddypower account (with £3.04 in!), someone suggested it may be shown there. It looks like it is!! Does anyone know how to make it "large" screen? :?

No shame in that defeat , leading for 70 mins until they brought on Kane and co . We can now concentrate on the league with a hopefully fully fit squad and a few mor quid in our pocket :D

Proud of 'em all....

Tiredness and a determination to win the ball was the reason that Spurs capitalized on a couple of mistakes.

It needed the big guns to be brought on for Spurs to win otherwise the result could have been so different.

Was very impressed with both our new players and argues well for the future.

Not sure but think I saw a picture of another new player in a red shirt but could be someone who already sports a beard.... :?: :?: :?:

Safe journey home to the thousands who traveled and hope SR gets back ASAP. He should be proud of his players especially the player who I had issues with a few months ago. O'Connor was immense.

:) :) :)
