I can't claim to be an authority on the regulatory situation but clubs don't seem to be expecting anything additional tomorrow in the way of negative test outcomes or whatnot. Additionally, having flown in from far away last night, I would be tempted to suggest that apart from maybe needing to take a mask with you just in case, it's business as more or less as covid-usual. Other people's experience may be different.

Thanks Ian, not expecting any static at Pompey tommorow, I think the new "rules" kick in in a week or 2 , looking really to plan ahead into next year , I think next few away games are out. But not clear on home games , hopefully we don't meet the thresholds for mandatory passports with our capacity

Isn't it just for grounds over 10,000 capacity ?

I believe we will all have to do lateral flow tests before home games and report on the NHS website. Club will probably announce how it will work early next week.

Thanks Gone shrimping, there's a seating / standing element to the equation as I heard on the news, so as we have a mix wasn't sure of the interpretation

Taken from new regulations:

” NHS COVID passes for nightclubs, unseated indoor venues with more than 500 people, unseated outdoor venues with more than 4,000 people and any venue with more than 10,000 people”

On that basis it looks like our capacity (ie more than 4000 people) will require either NHS Covid-19 pass or proof of negative test to gain entry. Not clear about face coverings.

Yep it’s all a bit unclear, maybe depends on what our unseated capacity is? I’ll be taking my pass just in case!

Helpful if the club could let us know , I'm thinking to take a trip out of UK if entry restrictions are in place
