Train info for Spurs game (if sat @ 3pm)

Please find information to help regarding Spurs game (if sat at 3pm) and covid doesn’t stop us travelling

Last train from Euston is 17.59 to get you back to Lancaster (includes bus from Preston)

After that there is a 18.29 and 19.29 from Euston but will only get you back as far as Preston

Hope this helps anyone travelling by train on the day

I have caught that 17.59 train back after being at White Hart Lane in the past. I think it is what used to be called the "boat train" and used to continue to Heysham for the Belfast boat. The cockney porters on Euston Station hadn't got a clue where Lancaster is but they all knew where what they called Haysham was !

Any prices yet Redalert ? Train appeals more than coaches for me.

I’m quite lucky been in Blackpool as I can get the 18.29 or 19.29 from Euston so wouldn’t have to rush back after the game

That's not a bad price. I would think coach travel will be quite expensive , maybe £60 or £70.

The other question is how to get to/from White Hart Lane from Euston. Looks a bit complicated to me with tube/bus/train options but nothing direct. According to TfL it is a 30 minute walk from closest Victoria Line station.

It's only circa 3 miles fro Euston Station so a taxi would be the quickest and most convenient option BUT cost.... :?: :?: :?:

you can drive to Watford and avoid London traffic then just get the Metropolitan line to Euston on the tube.

Sorted the info. TfL website useless! Used Train-Split. Take Victoria line Underground from Euston to Seven Sisters. Change to Overground to White Hart Lane. About 40 minutes all in and £11 return but cheaper with Railcard, Oyster or tap-in tap-out with credit card. I'll be traveling from Milton Keynes (staying with family) using an all in ticket for £13.40 with a Railcard. Good value and should be available from most outer London stations and worth thinking about. Happy travels!

Try citymapper.com

Cab would take 15mins more than either overground to seven sisters then Victoria line or walk to seven sisters. Would cost £30 too, Uber would be 20-25 at a guess.
