You would hope spurs would just donate their 40% to us.
They need the money more than we do!

Not in the long run.

Before each home match the bars and food take over £100,000 in revenue !

The split is 50/50 less vat and match day expenses, which will be considerable in London. When we played at Millwall, with about 4,000 attending the game, and the match receipts in total were about £45,000, the expenses were over £34,000.

Spurs are charging between £10.00 for children up to £25.00 for adults at Europa League games, so it may be something similar, I think with a good saturday kick off time , the crowd will be high 40,000, so I think about £300,000 is a good possibility. A bit different to f a cup monies from any number of previous away ties where it was always felt that one or two of them really needed to not try and pull our pants down

We will pocket at least 350k from the cups these season. Survive in L1 and next season could see us move on both with the squad and the facilities.

Pretty sure, after expenses, it is 40%-40% with 20% going to the FA.

50,000 fans @ £25 would be £500,000 for us, less 40% of the expenses.
40,000 fans @ £20 would be £320,000 for us, less 40% of the expenses.

I'd expect it to be somewhere between those two figures.

So how did that work out then?

There was nearly 39,000 for their 4th round replay against Newport, and that was a Wednesday night. That was pre-Covid and at Wembley of course but still...

Hi again, have just re-checked on the FA Cup split for league teams as from the 3rd round(as it’s different prior to round three and for non league teams) and it is gross receipts less vat, less all bona fida expenses, then the nett sum is split, 45% to each club and 10%to the FA “pool”

Whatever the split is it'll be a nice little earner for our club and one that hopefully will be partially used to invest in the team and club infrastructure....with the rest put aside for a rainy day when we will need some extra cash for some unforeseen eventuality.
