If Greg can get to full fitness, he's a superb player for us. Wigan could have played the game, as they don't have enough international players to worry!

So how did that work out then?

Must be costing the club playing on Tuesdays instead of Saturdays.
Shame for the folk who have booked boxes and hospitality occasions too

Rearranged for Tuesday 18th January, providing neither team is in a 3rd round replay

not a bad thing the transfer window will be open by then, might be able to sign a goalkeeper of L1 standard.

I think if he can get his distribution and kicking improved then Jokull is fine.

For me the problems are elsewhere , a Songo'o defensive midfielder and a big dirty centre back would be high on the wish list. I am sure Martin Foyle will be doing his best to recruit some good players.

Is jokull not only on loan until Christmas or the new year ?

Jokull is a season long loan, it's Shayon Harrison that has a short term contract, till January.

I'm very surprised at some comments about Jokull's distribution. It's not perfect, but he's often attempting relatively more tricky kicks into pockets of space on the flanks. Strikes the ball nicely with a good weight I feel, just is sometimes not quite there with his direction/distances. Certainly no worse than any other keeper we've had over the past few years, and compared to what it was like in his first spell with us I'm sure he'll keep improving. For me, it's making sure he commands his box more which he could do with a bit more consistency with.

Totally agree it's a horrible centre back (first and foremost for me) and a defensive midfielder we're more in need of. I'm hoping someone like that would be able to help Jokull as well, having a player or two he knows he can rely on to land a header or help clear a path for him to catch a cross.

Pretty sure Big Baz mentioned he always loved playing with Bentley/Artell for similar reasons.
