Now that's cool! It can't have happened very often, if ever?

What could have been with George Tanner. I know Jim Bentley rated him very highly and tried to sign him when Man Utd released him. If he wasn’t stolen from us by $al£ord what could have been. Still Ryan Conney or George Tanner, both 21? If Tanner is worth £300k, what will Ryan be worth?

With Cole, Sam and Ryan that's circa £1million worth of talent at least....plus the young lad in the Academy who is a superb prospect at 16 / 17...... :D :D :D

Ryan looks more switched on this year and seems to have some real fire in his belly. I prefer him to the more technically gifted Tanner because of the way Ryan puts himself about. Bigger clubs will be lining up to take Ryan in thr summer.

Jordan Slew scored for Halifax in their 2-0 win over Altrincham. Bit of an old boys' reunion there, Slew versus Pringle, Sutton and Leitch Smith.

Liam got the last few minutes and did OK. Done well to get in at star studded Wrexham. Great game and good advert for National League. Mind boggling amounts of money being thrown about by both these two and others. Harder than ever to get out of this league this season me thinks.

As one of the more surreal "Former Shrimps" posts...

Deputy chief medical officer and Boston United fan Prof Jonathan Van-Tam gave Jordan Burrow his COVID-19 vaccination.

I’m not sure if anyone knows, but former Shrimps forward Jordan Burrow has been jabbed by professor Jonathan Van-Tam apparently.

( )

Sam scored for Charlton in their 2-1 loss at the weekend, Charlton fans still haven’t taken to him. Tough crowd.

Kevin Ellison among the substitutes for Newport at Barrow tonight.

Currently Barrow 0 Newport 1

More of interest is that the referee is Robert Madley who refereed our play-off final against Newport at Wembley  :o
